![]() ![]() I had to change several shirts until I figured it out. Be careful if you get a cup.make sure the hole in the top that you sip from, is NOT lined up with the "fold" in the cup. The paper napkins are almost like linen, the togo bags are quality you would find in a high end retail store, even the cup carriers are top notch.but when you get to the paper cup they use for the hot drinks, they are terrible and leak. When you look at all the paper products this hotel uses, its disappointing to get a cup of coffee in such a "cheap" cup. The first are the coffee cups they use to serve the coffee. Prices are a little high, but are what you would expect in such a nice hotel. In the Encore, they have a bar area that serves as a cafe in the morning. (but free in the lobby) You might think, I have a cell phone, I don't need WiFi.The rooms have very bad cell service. So you are paying $200 plus a night for a room, and they are charging $18 per day for WiFi access in the room. Who really wants to pay $8 for a small bag of potato chips? If you remove any of the items in the refrig or snack tray for more than 30 seconds you will automatically be charged. When you are paying over $200 a night for a stay in a hotel, it seems like they are nickel and diming you. The hotel set up a tray full of very expensive snacks on top of the wet bar, and a refrig full of very expensive drinks. One complaint about the room was the fact that we could NOT use the refrigerator. There are plenty of USB outlets to charge all of your devices too. It had a very nice desk and couch, with a large TV. The room had a control next to the bed that could control the lights and the drapes. My wife and I found the bed very comfortable and loved the comforter on the bed. The room we had was very spacious, very well kept and clean. First is my review of the Encore at the Wynn. This review is about my stay in Las Vegas in general and I will touch upon the different hotel, restaurants and sites that I visited and experienced. you will also be given an immediate upsell - my tip, see the room you have first before your take the upsell. All in all room was nice, turndown service amazing and be careful on resort tax at $32 dollars per day plus tax. We had the matter resolved but it left a little bitter taste in our mouth but we were given late check out and $100 to eat (that covers 2 breakfast buffets) This place pulls in a certain type of 'lady' and that was a little uncomfortable to watch - would be nice to see more control about non resident females. ![]() We had initial problems with noise so if you want your sleep, ensure you ask for a north side room (odd numbers) as they don't overlook the nightclubs which go on until around 4am. ![]() Very expensive and most basic things are at least 40% more expensive than outside the resort. Tea and Orange juice in the morning was $27. This is a hard review to write as this hotel does lots right but be advised - its one thing saving for a 5 star resort but living in it is something else. ![]()
